This one-week seminar, taught by Leon Martin from New Providence, PA, is for every pastor or deacon who wants to learn methods of Godly pastoring or simply refresh the basic pastoring principles that he has already learned. Spouses are encouraged and welcome attend as well. Topics to be covered include:Study methods to make sermon preparation easier and more effectiveCreating a sermon outline that is understandable for the audienceSermon delivery that encourages people to listen intentlyHow to encourage people who have experienced grief and lossWhat to say and what not to say when offering consolationConflict resolution and how to diffuse tensionTime management that allows a balanced life between church and familyDynamics of team ministry and what is required to make it work properlyThis seminar starts with the basic concepts and principles and allows the attendees to build skills that will enhance their service to God and others in an efficient and effective manner.
Registration& orientationfor this seminar begins Monday evening, starting at 6pm. Sessions will run Tuesday morning through Friday noon. The seminar cost is $327 for an individual and $427 for a couple. Room & Board is $100 per Adult and $25 per child (Children 3 & under are free).
